When you and your dog share a long look, your dog is “hugging you with his eyes”.
2. Leaning On You.
Leaning is also a symbol of affection. Sometimes your dog is leaning on you not because he is nervous, but because he thinks you can protect him and keep him safe.
3. Yawning When You Yawn.
Yawning is contagious between humans. But did you know that dogs also yawn when someone they love yawns? His affection for you enables him to empathize with you.
4. Lifting And Wiggling Eyebrows.
Did you know we can read a dog’s facial expressions? A study found that when dogs see an item they know and have already bonded with, they lift their eyebrows (especially their left).
